Kara: Welcome to my kitchen. A little bit slob, this is the job. I've got million, million cookbooks back there all set. So when I said I can't cook, I really can cook, I just have to use a recipe. So I am fully prepared. But tonight, my husband, bringing home one of those roasted chicken which you get, it comes pre-seasoned, precooked, pre-roasted to perfection. He is bringing home one of those tonight, so I am in-charge of mashed potatoes. You want to watch me peel it? I know you do. These are baker potatoes, I don't know why they call them baker potatoes that they are huge. So there you go.
Alright, on you mark, get set, peel. So next, yes, I did see 'The Shinning', I love 'The Shinning'. I know it was an axe in 'The Shinning'. But you know this sucker, look at that thing. I got to back up two feet to get it all way in the frame. This was a Christmas present from my brother-in-law. What was he trying to say?
Next, pot of water. Don't look at the dirty dishes, don't look at the dirty dishes. You are looking, no looking at the dirty dishes. Oh, I left the cupboard open. Okay, next is the big knife and cutting board. Don't you love that? I love cutting boards, they are so handy. My husband told me always slice them really thin because they go faster that way and I don't mind to figure that on my own. No, because I don't like to cook. You've got to do this thing so you don't chop your fingers off when you are right next to the -- you cant see hold down -- you do this next to the blade, so you don't like, there we go. That way you don't come out with a bloody stump. I shouldn't look at the camera and cut. On to the stove we go.
