Today we would like to show you some funky stuff for making fring calls. As you know we can make fring calls over 3G WiFi and so on but this time it is much more cool. And this is doing the same thing but without a sim. So as you are familiar with fring, you know you can do fring call to Skype and here on my buddies they are online, you see over 3G but now actually what I am going to do is I am going to take the sim card out and then use the same thing but without a sim. So, first thing first, switch off, turn around your handset very carefully. Open the lid, take out the battery, put it out, open it up. Take the sim card, throw it away, keep it for future use. Close the lid. Put the battery back turn it on and wait for the handset to restart. Now, the nice thing about using fring without a sim is actually, when there is no sim inside and using a public WiFi hotspot you actually don’t pay for anything. Non at all not a snitch. You might be paying for coffee beverages but you have nothing to pay for your communication. That is the curtsey of the public hotspot. So apparently what the handset is trying to do is trying to locate a network and as you will find, the sim inside there is no network and then you see from the big X on the left side, a missed call. From the X side there is no network actually and it says being offline. Now we will start fring. Now fring will first of al try to find the latest access point it used before but as it cannot find it. Obviously, because there is no sim cart but actually, very shortly we will start to go through a search for access points. Now, as there is no access point it will ask me to choose something else which is obviously a wireless line. Create a wireless line, yes, please do and from the various, which is the strongest one and the one which is open and you can see that this one is open and this is courtesy of our local coffee shop. A small flower next to the battery gauge shows you that actually now we are rubbing into the WiFi network and actually I am already logging in to fring without having a sim card or a simcardless experience. Furthermore, now I can actually look up our dear friend Omari. He is next to me and I will chat with him. Look ma, no card and also, I can call.

Now, more magic, so that was fring to fring call but also I can obviously without a sim card to my regular phone, right?
