More than a year ago

On most palm styli (stylus plural?) the writing tip unscrews from the shaft and a thin plastic rod is hidden inside (attached to the writing tip) that can be used to hit the reset button. Why would you need a paper clip!?

Okay, I am going to try and demonstrate how to do a soft reset on both the Palms. First one is on the Zire 71, just bend a paper clip and poke it in the back. So that is all you need to do. And then with a Treo 650, same thing, poke it in the back go through its splash screen. And that is how you do a soft reset.
