Today we will be learning about how to save electricity in the home. Let us get started. As you can see there is no longer anybody in this room. Perhaps we should switch off the light. This is probably the best way to save electricity.

Here is the light switch. I will switch it off to save electricity. Turning off lights when leaving a room not only saves you money on your electricity bill, but also is an easy way to lower carbon dioxide emissions.

Another way to save electricity is to switch things off at the power point. This display to the left of me is supposed to show the time but I cannot be bothered setting the bloody time so why leave it on and waste all the electricity?

Even if you cannot be bothered switching off everything at those hard to reach power points, just disconnect the power.
