you should not lean forwards OR backwards! You should not put hands on your knees if falling! When skating ur head should in general be above your feet (weight over standing foot)... if falling hands should go out to break fall... you do not put your hands on your knees when ur goin to fall,the stupid women,i dunno wot shes onna bout there,and she cant say newt about being able to skate cuz shes not that good skater,im a prefessinal figure skater im 12 and i no wot im onnabout you but your arms out when your goin to fall,ive been champs and i do lessons.

you do not lean forward...it throws off your balance...instead, you bend your knees as much as possible
