Hey! What’s up guys, Walt Ribeiro here! Though for you follow me in tweeters you can subscribe to the Mailist, YouTube, Dig, Facebook, MySpace the whole thing and there is a form also here is my live show, the Chat Below, well that rhyme, is that crime, was it? It also rhyme, all right, so yes I do not know what that meant.
So, okay so now let us just get do this. We have a question from one of the students here right now this said hey Walt, you showed us how bad in F13# and 11#5 for it sound okay.
Now, the idea is that in F#, -- do that in F13# or whether it is a #5 chord might sound.
[Demonstration]
Really bad or really good but that idea is like you can see that in that context do that chords sounds bad. You have to understand is that in any context, a chord will sound good or bad in it is own element or where you using it in that song. So, their might be a time and their might be plenty of times when you might have to play this chord.
[Demonstration]
Okay and there where be times when this chord, although it sounds pretty.
[Demonstration]
Maybe this is the chord that sounds bad because maybe in this key.
[Demonstration]
Okay and that one I am going to play this chord -- it is sounds really bad, right? Okay, it sounds ready --
[Demonstration]
All right, so now, the idea is that get that chord that I just play there it is actually out of the key signature of what I played here. So, although it is a beautiful chord in it is own right --
[Demonstration]
It was not the right chord and in fact, you might and have even better off playing this F#13, #11 chord were here whatever. The chord is I think, it is actually Major 7th but, but the ideas of this chord in some cases might actually works better in this chord
[Demonstration]
Or this chord
[Demonstration]
Or this chord
[Demonstration]
Or this chord
[Demonstration]
Right? Or this chord,
[Demonstration]
Or this chord
[Demonstration]
Or back to the one.
[Demonstration]
And there is your lesson for today. You got the idea is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder which is you and then the context of the song which made you can control that, so there you go.
Let us get to the eyes of chat really quick let say what is going down and I think that is an important lesson for people to understand. I had -- so here a -- Walt, oh yes, in my desk is super clear just sleep okay so really it needs -- let us go back over here.
Hey! What is up, okay so everyone pretty much understands that and yes very important so do not forget to subscribe and to mail us the form we can all tour together all these pips here that amazing.
Chats floor we got about 40 people in the chat room right now and effective maybe 15 let me square them. There are a lot of people in the chat room for a lot of people then I will maybe in the chat room too. I will talk to you that probably awesome.
So, yes there is your lesson for today is that use your ear. That is the kind of more you guys will going to use and understand more songs coming from the more it is going and that is the chord that to use. The chord that sounds good to this guy.
