Audra Lowe: In the Holidays, many of us splurge on new make-up from the concealer to the lip liner and even the water we drink; new and innovative products were being created around the clock. Our beauty expert and skin care fanatic, Kim Anderson is been in the business for over ten years working with celebrity like Chrisette Michele and her blog is entirely dedicated to answering your questions and breaking beauty news. Well, Kim I’m filling us in on a few things that you might be missing out on.
Alright, it’s all about the muti-purpose pencils today and a few other things too, right?
Kim Anderson: Absolutely!
Audra Lowe: Okay, the first one over here, two side’s looks pretty the same.
Kim Anderson: Double ended concealer. Okay, because you know you can never find that concealer color that exactly matches your under eye area. Or you need to highlight or do whatever. This is pencil, on one end it’s the lighter color and on one end is the darker color. You can highlight or you can mix them together.
Audra Lowe: Next, this is another pencil. This got like three? What?
Kim Anderson: It’s like a transformer, it’s like a go-bot pencil. It’s still a cosmetic, it’s their convertible color. Convertible eye color. On one end, it’s a retractable pencil. So you don’t have to worry about sharpening. On the other end is a smudge brush. On this end is a smudge brush. So, you line your eye, you smudge it and then when you twist the center open, there’s an eye shadow in a coordinating color so you can blend it if the easiest smokey eye. It’s a smokey eye in one pencil.
Audra Lowe: Now, this one here is-- what is this? A lip gloss in a pencil?
Kim Anderson: A lip gloss in a pencil I mean like lipstick—when you’re probably getting some type of lip product, I don’t know what.
Audra Lowe: It looks dark and very concentrated.
Kim Anderson: It looks dark and very concentrated. However, it actually is very, very sheer.
Audra Lowe: Oh! I see that!
Kim Anderson: Very, very sheer. So, you can just go ahead and pop that on, you can follow a trend with that dark lip of the season but you can do it in more believable more work friendly way.
Audra Lowe: Alright, the last but not least, I love green tea, there’s anti-aging properties in green tea but not everybody has the time or the energy to drink, 10 to 12 cups.
Kim Anderson: At all? So, you’re going to take that one drop and it is equals 15 cups of green tea, decaffeinated.
Audra Lowe: What?
Kim Anderson: And here, you’re going to just put it right in your water bottle, shake it up and you’re ready to go.
Audra Lowe: Who makes this? Who founded this?
Kim Anderson: Dr. Brandt. So, it’s an antioxidant power house. It can also rev up your metabolism. So, that appeals to me personally.
Audra Lowe: And, this only $35.00.
Kim Anderson: Only $35.00 and I mean a minimal taste and no must no fuss.
Audra Lowe: Let’s say, it’s worth it?
Kim Anderson: Absolutely!
Audra Lowe: Thank you so much!
Kim Anderson: Thank you!
Audra Lowe: Yeah! Worth its wait and go, that’s for sure. For more of Kim’s tips, you can logon to our website bettertv.com and we’re going to have a link to Kim’s very entertaining blog.
