Hey guys. David Risley here with Daividrisley.com and this time I am on the webcam on the laptop. And I want to show you the insides of Maxblogpress Ninja Affiliate. Now, I have highly recommended this plug-in to you and all my subscribers in the past. And I still do. But I never—
I’ve never actually done a video that just going to show from the back in perspective and what it does talk about. But I want to actually show you. What we’re looking at here is actually the word press control panel for davidrisley.com. And I’ve got you inside of the Ninja Affiliate tab which is under the manage tab and the MVP Ninja Affiliate. And actually it’s a news to me they must have released a new version today which is cool. I’ll have to upgrade. Nut in the meantime, this is a list of some of the link names that I have set up and you could see that it actually allows me to track unique clicks as well as raw clicks. Through each link, it allows me to see how many keywords I have set up. Now what the keywords is just basically I could choose a list of words that anytime those words show up somewhere in a blog post or a comment or a comment or anything like that, this plug in will automatically hyper link at using my affiliate link which is really, really cool. Let me go and show you what it would be like to open up a…
Actually let’s do this. Let me go in to “become a blogger”. You guys have seen that I’ve been recommending that. Oops, I must just have clicked on it. Let me back out for just a minute. Here is the edit button. Alright, here we go. So the link name is just whatever I ant to call it. This is you know from my internal tracking. And then the affiliate destination link is my actual affiliate link and as you guys might know if you do it in your affiliate marketing, a lot of affiliate links are long and ugly which is one of the reasons why I recommend this plug-in. And then, under this is the ninja link which is basically what I want the link to actually look like. So obviously it’s based on my domain; davidrisley.com recommends/become a blogger. So basically, whenever somebody enters this URL, their going to go to that URL and it’s going to log in as a click through so that I can actually see that they did it. If I wanted to actually convert keywords to ninja link so that if I just check this, I can type in a list of keywords here. For example I could enter “Yaro Starak” here if I felt like it. And anytime the word Yaro Starak shows up on my blog, it’s going o link to “become a blogger.com” using my link. So that’s actually really, really, handy because I’ve got several hundred post on this blog and I don’t really even know where I might have mentioned that guys’ name. I’m not going to set that up it just demonstrates the power of it.I can modify the status bar text which is basically the text which is going to show up down here rather than URL. I don’t usually use that. You can group links together if you would like to. And it’s just a really powerful thing. So I’m going to go back to the homepage.
And underneath these things I can get some information. I can reset the stats, I can delete it obviously. Let me just look at detail info. I’m not even sure what that does. Cool, so it gives me just an over- view of all the stats as well as the setting for that particular link. I can look at the “referrers” let’s go to referrers on the Twitter Manual Download and I could find out what URLs people are coming from in order to download the Twitter manual. Obviously, most of them are coming from davidrisley.com which makes sense that none is just wherever the referral cannot be had, probably because they were coming to it directly the other browser. And then we got a list of other sites; Google and LostInTechnology.com and a bunch of other sites that apparently linked to the Twitter manual directly. So, I think that’s pretty cool I can actually figure out who’s linking to these things. So, hoping you could see the power of Ninja Affiliate here.
If you do any affiliate marketing on your blog, this is a really great plug-in to have because it gives you some really cool management as well as stats on who’s actually clicking on your stuff. And again, I just recommend it highly to you. So I will invite you to check it out. And if you do decide to get it, use my affiliate link if you’re so inclined. It looks like mine is dacidrisley.com/ninja. So, see you guys later.
