Its nice to have a whisper quite fan but... When I have guests over I sure don't want to hear them blowing up my toilet. So having a fan that makes a little noise to drown out the explosions is key.

i wired a exhaust fan with light. the light did not work, the fan worked a few minutes, then that stop. i checked to see if the wires came apart,but didn't. so we tried to rewire it worked then stopped again,

we wired the fan and light. the light didn't work at all. the fan worked for a minute and stopped. re did it, the same thing happen. it did not come apart (the wires)

Installing Bathroom Exhaust Fans

This 20-year old bathroom exhaust fan is really loud and not very powerful. Oh, wait a minute. Hi, I am Tim Carter from AskTheBuilder.com and I want to tell you about a really cool bathroom exhaust fan that will get all of the humid air out of your bathroom and it is whisper quiet. [Music Playing] Bath fans do not have to be in the bathroom ceiling. I have installed fans that worked like a central vacuum system. The fan motor itself is up in the attic space above or slightly away from the bathroom. The powerful bath fan motor connects to one or more small inlet boxes that are visible in the bathroom ceiling. These inlet boxes can be equipped with or without bright lights. The humid bathroom air travels from the inlets to the fan through flexible insulated piping. If you have two or more inlets in a bathroom ceiling, no problem, use a plastic fitting that takes the two pipes and turns them into one that goes up to the fan. I would like to use large bond clamps to secure the flexible piping to the inlet boxes and the fan motor housing. The fan forces the humid air through the roof using a larger diameter flexible insulated pipe. Watch my other video that shows you exactly how to install the bathroom fan flashing out on the roof. It is really an easy job. The fans are operated with cool electronic timer switches that allow the fan to run for five or 10 extra minutes after you have left the bathroom. This ensures all or most of the humidity has been removed from the bathroom so that you do not have anymore problem. So, what do you think of this cool bathroom exhaust fans? You know, the fan itself is up in the attic. Here is the inlet box and it is connected by about eight or 10 feet of that insulated dock type, that is what makes it so quiet.
