Okay, all ready to take off the dead bolt. We will take the back plate off, taking the turn button away and then the dead bolt retaining screws. Now we are already for the power bolt. Inside the box was the keypad. The actual instrument panel for the back, the dead bolt, the dead bolt plate and then the back panel that goes over top of everything to finish it of in the inside.
Okay, now we are ready for the dead bolt and the keypad. We will put the wire ribbon trough, over top of the plunger and slide the two pieces together. Let us join up the wire ribbon now to the mechanism and one screw in behind the back with that. There is two external screws that are brass colored to match the outside trim and I will drill the holes and install those. There we have it. All installed, all I have to do now is program in my code and we are ready to go.
First step to recoding, push the code button, then all we have to do is punch in our code. Any number of digits up to eight and then punch the little lock in the center. Let us punch in 6797. That long beep now indicates that the unit has received its code. Now it is ready to operate. Now we are ready to put the trim plate on the back and it is all finished. Now that sure did not take long did it?
