Male1: Had you ever had the experience of going to the kitchen sink or possibly to the bathroom basin or possibly the shower or the bathtub? Turning on that hot water faucet and you wait and you wait and you on hot water, well folks the problem is your hot water tank is away down far into the house or down in the basement and where you are demanding the hot water. It is up furthest away. Well it is just like this kitchen here. The kitchen is up furthest away from the hot water tank.
Now how are we going to crack the problem? Well this so happens to be a product available for that right now. There it is. That is a quite a little device.
Male2: It is. This is what it is. This is made by Auto Circ It is an instant hot water pump. Just a really tiny pump here with a timer, what we do is we hookup the hot water here. Hookup the cold water here, okay and then we hook these two lines up to the faucet. So we have hot and cold water at the faucet.
Male1: Wow. That is kind of neat and simple and I see it is powered by 110.
Male2: That is correct. What this system does is, is a little temperature sensor in here. Then when hot water line that is being fed to this faucet cools down to below 85degrees Fahrenheit, this tiny pump starts here. We are pumping that water back into the cool water supply which will be looped back over into the hot water tank with this existing piping in the hole. When the water starts to get hot back over to the sink here, there is another sensor that is set at 95 degrees Fahrenheit and it shots it off. So you will have just a little bit of lukewarm water in your cool water line for a little while.
Male1: Wow. That is not so bad.
Male2: No, but then you will have hot water instantly at your faucet here.
Male1: Now what is this timer all about here I see in the front.
Male2: Well with the timer is Shell is you may not want this system running between 11 at night, four in the morning, something like that you may want to be running it. You may want to have your water five in the morning either at your kitchen faucet here or in the bathroom faucet. Because this is the end of line, what it is doing we are actually putting hot water into the lines throughout the whole home.
Male1: Also the bathrooms and laundry room in that loop still gets the benefit as well.
Male2: Yes.
Male1: So penny is a day to operate?
Male2: Penny is a day.
Male1: Now I tell you. That is a great idea.
Male2: Yes it is.
