Hello! Steve here from More Mobile Internet. Today we are going to show out the Kyocera KR2 router along with the three types of cards that it works with. Some other interesting facts about the router and information on our combo specials.
First off, this is a mobile router with a lot of options. It comes standard with WiFi N which is the latest and fastest WiFi standard giving you extra range and better wireless coverage. Of course it is still backwards compatible and works with B and G as well. So it will work with any wireless computer or device.
Even though this router is marketed by Kyocera, it is actually a cradle point product as evidenced by this WiPipe logo here. The WiPipe technology allows for better data flow and some users even see faster speed through the router than directly in the computer.
So now we are just kind of give you the quick tour of the router itself. We got all the indicator lights here that tell you what is going on.
Next, we have the three cards slots and this is unusual because most routers only have one or two options where this one has all three. PC card slot, express card slot and USB over here. Around the back, we have an on/off switch and this is for the wireless portion only. It doest not turn the router off just the wireless part of it.
Next, we have got four ethernet ports here which allow you to connect up to four devices at one time with the ethernet cable.
Next is the LAN port here. This allows you to use an incoming cable or DSL line giving you the option to use the router without a broadband card. Here is another USB port here and the reset button and power of course over here.
Now for the good stuff. The KR-2 retails for $250.00 and we sell it for $239.99. However, if you get any of the free Verizon cards that we sell, like the USB 727 here and it goes in like that. Or the KPC 680 express card that would go in here like that, or even the PC5750. We actually lower the price to $204.99 that is right, $204 for both the router and the card, plus you get our expert help if you need any assistance getting it configured and a 30 day trial period so you cannot lose.
