Hey everyone and welcome to a special episode of Indy Mogul. Recently, I got a chance to talk with Kim Evey and Felicia Day. Among other things, Felicia is the writer, creator and star of The Guild as well as recently starring in Josh Swedens Dr. Horrible sing-along drive. Kim is the producer, creator and star of Gorgeous Tiny Chicken machine show, a producer on The Guild and much, much more.
Here is my conversation with these two DIY filmmaking warriors. Howdy, Felicia and Kim, you are my only hope. Indy, we could do just a regular chat, you know.

So, how was the fan base for the guild growing since collision to Dr. Horrible?
Oh, yes. It has become I think expedentially larger as far as she is getting people to watch the show.
Yes, the just feelings in dance and I think a lot did actually go because they were happy but you know, there is a lot of sense of humor and we are happy. Just come to the scene and to the show has been an amazing experience because you know, they might not necessarily be gamers. They really enjoyed at this cranky humor.
You have each worked on every thing from big budget projects to micro budget web series, what did you guys learn?
You know, you could work as you have big movie site with around entertaining all the people there. You see Carol, what are you doing here?
Yes, I think that Carol was just sitting around and then, “What is your job? Why are you here?”
There are many who watched the show, what the hell is going on, but literally it is like a pay for what needs to be done and then there is somebody who is going to do it. With us, it is literally like spreading the positive Florida light news that are the shot.
I am going to El Seduno. And at 4:00 a.m. it is a broken VCR in the back of the car.
Stealing part of plans from television sets.
Yes, but because it kind of serious conversant being friends, “Hey, you guys, are hard up, I guess.”
So, the cool thing about it and I think by the time it us dates and all that with the web creator and always got hell, you come down with what you do to. You know, get some handy or something.
So, this is about covering together and a marvelous skills and that you are going to do it perfectly. We do any thing competently and not to get where we need time.
What was it like working on Dr. Horrible?
Dr. Horrible was kind of weird and agalm like they were alive. I mean, everybody is a professional like other group who work with us before. I mean nobody got pain on this shooting like that. All the money, I mean, I guess it killed your actions right after. It is just a payback on the crew.
True. So, it definitely was it like The Guild where we have four crew members and my friends doing trust service. It felt like kind of a hybrid. There is marvel when you look at the indeed feeling of a set of Dr. Horrible where, “Hey, we guys are all together and we are creating something and you know, it is just kind of infectious like enthusiasm, I think on the set that would not be found on and all of it is just you know TV show.
So, what is coming on next for The Guild?
We got a season 1 DVD that we are just releasing. We just had been quite a learning hurdle. We decide talking about specialized skill of play off. I mean, three DVD together. We try to make it with the, subtitling and commentary tracks and interviews and lots of videos and it is cool. It is quite the effort.
Kim, what is coming up for gorgeous tiny?
We moved to a new space we instituted back in the garage. It is barely there, I think in 95. So, we came three things and a new space but we should have HD’s and it looks really, really great like the reaction designer published so that we were able to build, to read them the second scratch and we got a pension plans from a hundred high school freshmen and do it. It looks fantastic and somehow there are mentioned pieces on the second functional. It is more the same with a couple of really out of the boxes sort and we have added an element on the brand new room, which is really going to the grand room. It is like the random holiday say you just load it and you never know it is never going to be the same.
Any inside scoop on the Dr. Horrible DVD.
There is a crazy manufacturers who have plans with us and every time I hear something out it is like a look here that is out. I really think that having somebody of justices stretcher doing something about totally independent, totally no PR people and no nothing. It is going to be really increase the visibility and never expect for web contemporators because in Hollywood people can give to a flying fish for you know, a really successful web series and I think Ken he is doing a unique and like out of the box project like this. It is really going to help all of us in our in the triages.
