Danny Grady: And then when you really turn on the speed, it gives you something really, really interesting with a lot of notes that doesn't necessarily cover a lot of scale ground. And then the same kind of lick, we can try on descending.
So the way that you can construct it is the same thing, 4 notes down, start at the 8th fret of the 1st string, and then play 4 notes down from there, go to the 5th fret of the 1st string, 8th fret of the 2nd string, then do the bend here at the 7th fret on the 3rd string, and then end on the 5th fret of the 3rd string.
Another thing you will notice I am doing is that, watch when I come down here to the 5th fret of the 2nd string. I have still got the tip of my first finger here on the 5th fret but to get that, come back down to the 5th fret note on the 1st string I am baring, and I will do that as long as I am down, as long as I am descending, and then to play it a little bit faster, I will do the, instead of, picking from the 8th fret to the 5th fret, I will pull off. So that's how sequencing that can make this phrase that would have normally been, sound a whole lot more interesting.
