Introducing Patagonia in Argentina

Argentina is a country over 2000 miles in length and spans climates from the subtropic to the subantarctic. It’s the second largest in south America and the eighth largest in the world. It’s a spectacular country with a remarkable depth and variety, geographic and natural beauty. Argentina is bordered in the subtropic north by the wide muddy Parana River, an important thoroughfare for natives and later for settlers and explorers throughout that region’s development. Along Argentina’s border with Brazil, one of the world’s most spectacular waterfalls, Cascadas de Iguazu. Twenty miles of falls pouring out of the jungle plunging over 200 feet into the Iguazu River. Patagonia, the region for which more than 30 years has captured the attention of trout anglers covers the southern half of Argentina, stretching nearly 1000 miles from Narcan Province south to Tierra del Fuego.
