Got things on your lap, because first of all you would not appreciate it, it is just my daughter is always wishing it was easier or singing and acting and things like that and I say I turn the radio on the other day and I said to her look Peg, is this not great. I turned it out and I started mouthing the words, I did not know the words. See how good I can sing. She laugh and I said it is the same thing. If it was easy anybody could do it. But we need some blood, sweat and tears. My producer, my executive producer, will tell you that when he started his television show Thunder Alley it was called Racing on Dirt. And he has paid his dues believe me. And this is what we are have to do. And it is only right that we have to do this because if it was easy like I said, anyone would do it. We do not appreciate it unless you have to work for it like the parents will say today about the kids that have to go out and charge everything and have everything right away. They will be a lot happier if they have to work for it and then when they do get it and they really appreciate it. And the same thing with the things that I am going to show you in this series.
I will teach you it is going to be easy I will tell you right now. But when you are done it is really worth while. My puppets and ventriloquist figures I have made most of all them. I had some help but when you see them you going to know that I paid dearly but their mine and I am proud of myself for doing this. I have good self esteem and you can do the same. One of my pet peeves is people spending all their time in front of television not using their, do not turn it off. But not using their creativity. And so this is why I want to challenge you to do. For your happiness then, learn this puppetry. Learn ventriloquism, make yourself some puppets or ventriloquist figures, to the nursing home. Go to a hospital, go over to the sick friend. You always know somebody who is down in the dumps, entertain them with a joke or two, sing them a little song, cheer them up. That is what life is about.
You know life is like a boomerang and wherever you give, comes back to you and it is all so exciting. Well I had these puppets for a little while but they really did not satisfy me. And I have had various puppet theaters so, what did I have next, the Higly puppet, I do not know if they still do any more but I have Louie, and I had another one I am show in another series to Louie say hi, or Louie and Goldie. And Billy and Waldo and I use them a lot in the puppet theater. I wrote all kinds of plays and in fact, I wrote for a magazine for a long time. And I had my puppet plays, 21 different puppet play printed there in the magazine that I later put into a book. I have practiced with other people but nobody wanted to practice as much as I did. And that the children will grow through different stages and teenagers will help me for a while but then the other things get more interesting for them. It is hard to find somebody that you can work with. Maybe that has got something to say about me, I do not know, maybe I am hard to get along with but if I am going to do something well, I want to practice I do not want to do anything just half way.
