Threats, Challenges, and opportunity
Micheal Cardone III
V.P. of Supply, Cardone Industries
Micheal Cardone III: I think one of the biggest treats in the After Market is going with the shear investment at each point of the supply chain and getting those parts to the service dealer, our regular basis. The mass of the amounts of SK use they get introduce every years.
For example, we have 40,000 SK us that we service, but we add 4,000 to 5,000 every year. So this year investment from our prospective and probably most importantly the distributions prospective on inventory and the stores and figure how to get in, I think is a big treat. And we need to be able to supply the parts that are needed and that are our better value preposition. It has always been our value preposition and it will continue to be as we move ahead and the section market continues to develop.
We cannot let the service go back to our dealer. That is how we grew. That is how we develop and that is how After Market is going to continue to stay strong. But we are in the miss of really trying to prove out how we are going to deal to handle that. And I think that is one of our biggest challenges, just share investments dollars.
From what I said, you know it generally I am little bit near into After Market than some. I see a lot of opportunity I think. Anytime a market is shifting and challenging, and moving through, there is a lot opportunity after. One of the things I think that proliferation maybe it is a biggest challenge and it is also a big opportunity to really toward some of the affects of globalization that could be detrimental.
In figuring how to supply those, those parts to the After Market and service dealers, we see as our big opportunity. We are sinking our money, effort and time. And I think one thing that they are not exporting from any country is the value and service of getting and servicing our customer base and giving them what they need to help as so as their products. And I think going forward like many other categories and many other companies and industries that are existed, I think that most efficient supply chain is going to end up winning out. And that I think is the mature we need to move in with in anyway.
