I am Steve Turano. Welcome to this episode of Body Performance. I get this questions a lot from people. They ask me, Steve can I eat this or will this make me fat or is this bad for me? All of those are just hard questions to answer. It all depends on what you have been doing? And what you have been eating? I mean if you are eating too many protein bars and your caloric consumption goes up, they will make you fat. If you have not eaten for a while and you are suffering from malnutrition and lack of calories. Hey! Steak, baked potatoes and desert, how about that. See you cannot just say is this good or is this bad for me. You have to look at the over all picture. Remember this food does not make you fat. Excess food makes you fat. And how do we handle this?
We handle this by injecting some exercise into our daily lives. Yes! Exercise should be part of your life. It is not something you do because you ate. It is part of your daily life. When you get up in the morning, exercise should be scheduled into the day. That way, we do not have to worry about feeling guilty, feeling upset or obsessing about eating. I mean if you want to have that glass of wine, have it! You want to have desert, do it! Not that thing to deal when you are exercising.
When you exercised all last week and all last month and you plan on exercising next week, next month, and throughout the year. So when you inject exercise into your life it gets rid of the multitude dissents as well as guilt, anger, frustration, and being obsessed about what you are eating. Love your body. I will see you next time.
