Is This Long Distance Relationship Really Gonna Work?

Jennifer Hi, this question is from Dustin in South Qota. Dear Dan and Jennifer, You guys give great advice and so, I shall bring my problem to you. I recently move to another country due to being in a military. When I moved, I left a fiancé I loved very much. Due to certain circumstances, she will not be able to move for another three years. So for the next three years, both of us will be in a different country. Due to the time zone, we taught during my morning and sometimes on the weekends. I will be able to visit her during Christmas and summer. What could I do to keep that sparkle alive and just taught myself from going crazy without her? Any help would be nice. Dan We understand your circumstances and that was easy, but what is keeping her from being with you? If you guys really want to be together, why are not you, is that a problem you are trying to solve? Jennifer Maybe, she is under age. Dan I do not know but I guess my obvious question, I am just wondering how strong that commitment really is. Jennifer If you love each other you have to get married now. Dan Yes, why not get married now and be together, that is just kind of our take on it. Jennifer Yes, I mean through years, is a really long time, okay. But having said that, if you want to try to make it work, you know, our advice is to use technology to you advantage, you know. Well, you can do it actually, you can write her love letters, and you can talk on the phone. Have phone sex, why not. Dan Well everybody is legal Jennifer Yes! Video web cam, right! You can chat. Of course, I do not know what your situations are being in a military, just giving you some ideas. Having text messages, e-mail, whatever you can do to keep that bond and stay in touch every day if possible. Dan Unless of course, you can just take those circumstances, and they can go away.
