Is the Video rec by my Digital Camera any good?
Many still cameras say they can record videos, some even said they record high definition video; but I can ask questions all the time, “is that video any good?”, well, the answer is actually, “it depends”; some of the cameras, the early ones, the video is sort of okay, it was video but it wasn’t really the full high definition. Today, however, most of the cameras that do offer that, especially the ones that ABCHD, do a remarkably good job. This camera, for example’s an SOR, it’s got a stereo microphone on it, it records ABCHD, it’s a very nice still camera as well; this thing, if I looked at the video shot by this and the camcorder, it’d be hard to tell the difference apart. Even some smaller cameras like this guy here, which also works under water, this one will also shoot high definition video. So take a look at the indication, what kind of def video records, but it says it records ABCHD; chances are it’s got to be very good. But if says it records VGA, it’s not too bad; this is just plain old video, you probably would not going to be very happy with the results. So take a look at the camera, take a look what the features are, and make your decision.
