Hi, my name is Shannon Suda and I am coming to you from anthemsJADE.com and also organicJADE.com. I want to talk to you today about whether or not if Feng Shui is green. In a nut shell, I would have to say absolutely. Both Feng Shui and being green and choosing our organic lifestyle and eco-friendly and all of those principles are to harmonize yourself with you elements in the nature around you. And that is exactly why Feng Shui is well.
Feng Shui focuses mostly on your environment, more specifically your environment that you can control. So, like your home environment and obviously organics and being green and eco-friendly and living a sustainable lifestyle most certainly follow those principles as well, but I think being green is a little bit more on equal able levels. In Feng Shui, they talk a lot about not being able to control your global environment and I think by being green you are able to do a little bit of that as well. By all means and that seeing that is going to one person is not going to change everything, but most certainly it does start with one person at a time so.
Some things that Feng Shui and being green have in common, is natural elements and I have mentioned that before. But bringing plants into your environment, using natural materials. Assessing your environment, what does not feel good to you, what does not feel right. Have you ever walked into a room and there is something in the room that just not feel right, but you could not pin point exactly what it was? Well, that is exactly where Feng Shui comes into play and by doing the following Feng Shui practices, you are also doing your part in being green as well.
I think being green also impacts Feng Shui in regards to being aware of your surroundings, knowing what you are putting into your body and bringing into your house or surrounding you children with. I think just being aware will most certainly having to work together. Is Feng Shui green? Yes, absolutely.
