Rabin had Palestinian leader Yaser Arafat and signed it in giving the Palestinians autonomy over parts of the West Bank Gaza Strip.
In return, Arafat became the first Palestinian leader with knowledge in Israel’s right to exist and renounced violence. For this revenues awarded a joined—crimes with Arafat and Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres.
Bill Clinton: Today, we bear witness to an extraordinary act in one of histories defining dramas.
