Located 12 miles north of Jackson, Wyoming, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is that state’s most popular and largest ski resort. The charm of the old west continues to permeate the region with cowboy bars and an elk refuge located here. Jackson Hole draws all levels of skiers and snowboarders from across the globe. Half the runs are appropriate for expert skiers, while only 10% are appropriate for beginners. The Apres Vous Mountain is where the majority of intermediate terrain is located while Rendezvous Mountain boasts the more advance runs. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is home to one of the world’s most famous expert runs. Courbet’s Couloir has been described as America’s scariest ski slope and basically involves free falling and a certain amount of luck to get through. Mountain tops are accessible via chair lifts, gondolas and of 100 person aerial tram. From there, you can view the mountains and valleys in all their splendor
