John Fahey Teaches Auld Lang Syne

John Fahey Teaches Auld Lang Syne Hello there, John Fahey here. In this lesson we’ll be dealing with some of the arrangements of Christmas Carols that I made. I got to put these glasses on the light and it’s kind of hot in here. The first song is the Auld Lang Syne. I play Auld Lang Syne in open C tuning which is C-G-C-G-C and on top an E. Here’s a few chords I use, if you bar at the fifth fret, you’ve got an F chord and at seventh fret you got a G chord or you can play it like that. And this chord down here, it seems to be some of disagreement as to what exactly what this chord is about, I'm not sure myself so I think it’s a partial F chord. But I use this as a role of mine. Oh and then here’s the G chord here too. Or just— Now let’s go to the split screen and I'll slow it out down it a little bit so that you can see what I'm doing a little better.
