What I want couples to know is that communication is what is keeps the passion alive in a relationship. The problem is that, if you do not have a good communication skills in the first three years in a relationship there will be passion, there will be attraction. But if you do not have a good communications skill, if you do not develop them in that time the passion will go away.
Literally, if like God give us free hormones for three years. The hormones of passion and attraction and without those hormones,- the relationships start settling down, the passion goes away, the interest goes away. You start finding when you are less interested in your partner that you put less into the relationship and I am speaking a little bit in men here.
Men tend to loss interest in the relationship. Women have more interest in complaining about the relationship. It is amazing women; you have to watch your greatest skill can become your greatest problem. Women see everything, when they fall in love with the man they see him and they see all of his potential.
So, they are so happy, three years passes reality set sent. And suddenly, she does not the same response to him because in the beginning when she was in love she really did not know who he was, she has all this great potential then after he has been late 30 times; she goes there is nothing going to change to this guy. And so, her feelings becoming less and less, but potential is the great thing, it was give us hope and women will often see a mans potential, falling in love with that potential but then do not try to pull that potential out of him and have the opposite effect.
One of the chapters in if men are from Mars and s describing women as called The Home Improvement Committee. When the women loves a man this gene inside of women and men do not have this is called the Improvement Gene. No matter how good something is you can always be improve, right? Women have that gene, men do not have. A man’s gene says, the Martian Gene, is that is something works do not mess with it. The woman’s point of view is something works; let us see if that is much better we can make it work.
So, it is like it is improve it, let us change it. So, women fall in love with the man she goes okay now. How we are going to change him? Women were so different when we get married. A woman’s thinking, now we are married; now things were going to change. Now, my love will bring out the best of him, now I can improve him. Men get married they think just the opposite, think for dear God please do not change anything. So, we do not let you to change it all, we want you to stay the same, women want us to change. The truth is huge power to change your man; women bring up the best in men. But they are not trained how to get in there way. The way women try to improvement mintings because do not change.
