Male: It was Judy Garland’s starring role as Dorothy Gale in the Wizard of Oz that made her a superstar. Everything about the film works but Judy’s heartbreaking rendition of Over the Rainbow is truly unforgettable. It became her signature tune who has judged the number one movie song of all time by the American Film Institute.
When she delivered the show stopper born in a chunk and the star is born. She new exactly what she was singing about. A Francis Ethel gang first child aboard who pretend the age of 2 1/2, joining her sisters’ affordable act for arousing rendition of Jingle Bells at their father’s theater in December in 1924.
At the time Judy signed the contract with MGM in 1935 Judy has showed business profession and one have who had already captured the public’s attention with her performance of “You Made Me Love You” which he sang to a picture of Clark Gable showcasing her astonishing limit show her singing voice. The popularity grew when the studio paired her with a young Mickey Rooney in a string of movies from 1937 onwards.

It was only in 1944 is Meet me in St Louis and 1945 is The Clock both directed by Vincente Minnelli and she actually like the way she looked on the screen.
After divorcing her first husband David Rose Judy wed Minnelli and in 1946 gave birth to their only child Liza. She went on to study some of MGM’s brightest musicals following The Pirate, Easter Parade and Summer Stock with a star is born in 1954.
A story had been filmed before with Janet Gainer in 1937 and would be remade with Barbara Streisand in 1976 but it is Julie’s version of the world remembers with her version of the man that got away a stand out. Nominated for an Oscar she lost to Grace Kelly in The Country Girl courting Grandier Max to send her a telegram describing this as the biggest robbery since brinks.
She did win a Golden Globe for the performance though as they did their co- star James Mason.

Judy’s final movie was, I Could Go On Singing in 1963 and the following year she became engaged to Mark Herron marrying him then in 1965.

But in the meantime she discovered a whole new career performing live concerts to huge a flame. Despite being diagnosed with acute hepatitis in 1959 and told she would never sing again she recovered to deliver a show with Carnegie Hall in April 1961. That is often being referred to as the greatest night in show business history.
In 1969 Judy married her 5th husband Mickey Deans. But their life together was truly chunketed in the 22nd of June that year when Judy was found dead in her rented house in London. The death was put down to an accidental overdose of barbiturates and a sign of telling legacy of the unused appropriated childhood.
Judy Garland will forever be remembered. She’s one of the brightest stars to shine in a Hollywood family.
