Okay, when you’re first learning how to juggle, there are a couple of things you need to do. We are going to start with one ball first and work away up to the three balls.
But with one ball, a couple of things you want to think about doing is keeping your elbows at your side, your palms up. I will think of two spots about a foot above my shoulder. And when the ball is in my right hand, I’ll try to hit that spot above my left shoulder and when I have the ball on the right hand, I think of the point above on my left shoulder.
So, what I am going to do with one ball is just to throw the ball back and forth, note that my hands were still at my side, I’m not reaching for the ball at all. It’s just back and forth, simply like that.
Once you get used to that motion, once you get used to that, then you can pull out a second ball and this is the part that’s going to take a few minutes. It’s a little awkward, you’re going to drop and you’re going to give up, but hang in there. The longer you do it, the more your muscles will enable what’s going on.
