Julie's Son and the Very Hungry Caterpillar
Hi! My name is Julie. The moment I want to share with you is about my son Eddie Jr. who at that time was 18 months. We had brought the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar home and we read to him for about two weeks and then one day, he just picked it up and started reading it. Thankfully close by, there was a digital movie camera that he had and I just run and started recording because I knew this was one of those moments I couldn’t miss.
At that moment, it made me feel amazing as a mom because obviously, the reading that we were doing at night and during the day was cognitively he was getting it. I was very impressed because he’s only 18 months old and I'm like, “Whoa.” So, I was very proud and I definitely got choked up.
That moment was really special for me and I wish that I was able to share it with his grandparents and aunts and uncles and anybody special in our life. The Fisher-Price Moment to Share App on Facebook was very easy to use. I found the application on Facebook and allotted to view my profile and then I signed up which took literally 30 seconds. So, it was really exciting because not only did it take pictures, it also took video, so people get to share the laughs that I've had with Eddie Jr.
My favorite part of the video was when he was imitating the caterpillar eating and every time the caterpillar would eat something different, he would just be so animating. I know that when I show my family and friends with the application with the Moment to Share App that they're going to laugh. It’s going to be great.
