Okay guys, this is Gadgets Experts and I'll be doing a review on the K50i by Sony Ericsson. Camera phone and real quick 360 shot right here. As you can see Sony Ericsson five megapixel, speaker, camera with the shutter, flash, LED light, okay. On this side camera on/off, camera capture them and camera three options, so yeah there.
Camera, video camera and view, okay so you basically locate you previous pictures. Next we have zoom in zoom out and this does support accelerometer feature, so as you can see I took down and it starts moving down. I took to the right, it goes to the right and you can see that right now I'm with Rogers.
This is a 3G phone and let me tell you that just a bit basically here are three runs but you can't really press them. They are touch phone so let me touch them. As you can see there's no point in going like this, touching them like that won't like barely work. Now, so here press up, these are the arrow keys so you can find quick menus to them. That menu button of course, video call, a really good video call so here. This is a video call picture of my phone camera.
The camera is actually ruining it, it’s really good actually. It can be used like a real mirror and of course you can expand the picture so lay out. That guide will tell you all about it. Here, one cool thing when you turn the camera, pay attention to the shutter and the tap where the capture button is and turn it on and it close both by pressing your pretty cool camera.
Now we’ll give a quick demo of a picture. Now we kind of shift that button but still it’s really good. I shift the phone a bit and of course to know the feature is play slideshow. It automatically makes a really cool slideshow for so you can choose from five different choices. So you're just basically playing that pictures but you can go and say happy it gives a song but of course the song won't work unless you turn off silent.
It gives animations, song, music and everything you need so a really good slideshow program. Okay, so just connect it with your computer, your TV and you can display and everybody will see. Here you have in the entertainment section games, radio, video DJ, photo DJ, music DJ, Bluetooth, remote control, record, sound and the demo tour.
Here I show you how the video looks. Of course with the accelerometer feature you can tilt and it will turn and that shine over is the phone jack. As you can see it’s not the video or camera or anything. Of course right now they have a green version which you can’t buy US or well in Canada so that’s too bad but definitely a great phone.
I will go show you some more options and so you go like this and going through all those keys. All you have to do is you're going to just press 3 and go into your entertainment or you can go along. If you want to go camera or video call, just press 0 and there you go. And then here's the media function. This media is really cool, here I show you. So we have photos, music, video and setting. Setting there's only one option. Orientation is basically auto rotate, landscape or portrait, so let's go back. Now, I wanted to show you some photos.
It already gives you an automatic tag. You can tag whenever you want, camera album, which gives you a date. Just your pictures not your camera and next I'll show you music. This is not only a good camera phone but it’s a really good music player. It does have the walkman kind of feature and of course you can tell your phone but tilt it this way and there you go. You just press play and there you go.
Great phone definitely check it out but here I'll just say something like battery life. I just finish charging about eight hours ago and it’s at 84% so definitely bring up a backup battery and I haven’t called a single person today. Well except I've only called one person for about 30 minutes but it is that 84% right now. Of course it does help to turn off the accelerometer or it will a none accelerometer theme so there’s actually quite a bit of accelerometer themes, definitely search that on Google accelerometer themes or KA20i.
Of course there are your applications, your video call, synchronization, code memos, your file manager but definitely check this phone out. One thing I tell you, you need a practice with this phone. You need to know how to press your touch screen. It’s actually quite hard for me so that I'm holding a camera and I use my right hand but, yeah definitely check this out.
One thing I say is that for some reason my phone will do every few second or every few hours. I don’t know why this is but I would show you the shot of the inside so here's your memory card, right now I have an eight gig memory card. Here we have the SIM card and the battery.
I'll take off the battery just for you guys to see. But to do that you just press on the red thumb or pull. You just pull that way according to the arrow, okay. Dump it out and here's your battery, Sony Ericsson battery. This thing comes with the charger, USB, installation disk, of course your manual and as you can see here it shows you how to insert you SIM according to the country you're from and yeah, great phone.
One thing I do recommend is to get a screen protector since you will be touching the phone a lot and of course do you see that back that that easily scratch, do you see it just smudge right now.
There are a cover something like that but of course this smudges on the kind of devices are really easy to work with but really bothersome. So I'm going to get a cover or something. I don’t really need one since. I don’t need one. This is good enough for me and definitely check this phone out. This is Travis from Gadget Expert K50i. Check out us for more reviews and stuff.
