Karate - A Roundhouse Kick

Now we moved on to the roundhouse kick.

This kick could be executed with the top of the foot or the instep or ball of the foot. Target areas could be inner thigh, groin, sole plexus, face or the back. Notice the knee comes around and snaps out at the last second.

Okay, so with this kick can be executed in three different counts: One to come up, two to kick and three to recoil. Or could be down like this with the shin bone which is very devastating and the area of the impact is shin bone connecting to the thigh.

Now the kick is executed in three different levels—low, middle and high. Notice the snapping motion of the kick.
