Dr. Brad Randleman: Well Adrienne, if you're a good candidate for Lasik, most patients recover vision very quickly. Most patients are functional within the first 24-48 hours, meaning they are legal to drive and able to do most if not all of their normal activities. There are a few activities including swimming or any type of contact sports that you'll be restricted from for a few weeks afterwards, but for most of your normal activities, your vision will recover very quickly.
