LG GM750 Layla Email Set-up Tutorial

In this video tutorial we’ll show you how to setup your email. To unlock your touch screen press the power button on the top left of your handset. Set the email icon on the toolbar whenever you want to read any new email messages. Press menu and then select LG email from with in the communication section. Select your desired email provider. We will setup a Google mail account. You can also set up a Microsoft exchange account on here also. Select user ID and using a keypad type in your user id information into the box provided. Select password and then set in your Google mail password. Select my name to enter your full name or as you would like to for each appear when we send in an email. Select whether your email account is push enabled. If unsure, please leave this box untapped and then select okay. Select “yes” to set the email settings. The wizard will now try to connect you to your email account. This is our Google mail account. To download your emails tap menu and then select send/ receive. Another way of adding a new email account is by going into your main menu and then selecting LG email, select settings and then tap on add email account. If you are using a corporate email or any other ISP please select others. Select either Pop or iMap tap at the top. Tap email address and type in your email address into the field provided using the keypad. Once you complete type your password. Choose your displayed name for the account on your GM 750. Now type incoming and outgoing server details you can find the selection of these at the bottom of this video within our useful link section. Next opt whether or not your email provider requires outgoing email authentication. Select okay and then select yes to save these details. Press menu then select send and receive to download your emails. Jut tap on the email to open and read the preview. Select detailed view to download the entire email. It is advisable to discuss with your network service provider about data bundles should you start to use this feature more often. In this video tutorial, we showed you how to setup your email.
