Hey everybody and welcome to the unboxing of the LG Voyager rubberize hard case shell. So this is the first hardware unboxing for you guys, the case for the LG Voyager. What were going to do here, I’m just going to unbox it and this is the first initial unboxing video. I’ll get you a full review video after I unbox this. So here we go.
As you can see, Extreme PDA shipped this. Their link will be in the description so go check that out. A great product if you do have a phone and you're looking to buy a case, they have a great website. They have a search feature so you can search for your phone and see what you like. So here we go.
This is the unboxing, this shouldn’t be too hard. I'm not going to use a noise cancellation for this background noise for this unboxing because of the packages. But basically, yes, it is a hard rubberize case. And here we go. Got some packing peanuts. But all in all, this is the actual box that the case comes in and a brief note they sent me. So I'm just going to clean this up and then get to the first Impressions.
Alright, were back here and I’ve cleaned everything off and we just have here the case and I’ll bring into view the phone. But this is the Extreme PDA case. And again, the link is in the description so go check it out. I'm just going to open it up here and basically what they're advertising this is all hard protective rubberize case. So I’ll put it down here. The box is not necessary.
So the front of the case looks pretty good. And we’ll take the back part out of this plastic here. So right away I notice that the outside of it is really a hard, not metal, but it’s a plastic. And then they coat it with a mat finish, so that’s really very cool. We’re just going to try the installation here so I can get it on. All I'm going to do is just clip it on, that’s easy installation right there. So they do give you what they advertise. That is a very clean simple installation. For the back part, I'm assuming it’s about the same thing. I'm just going to push it down 'til I hear a click of some sort and it should be installed. So pushing. Hmm, let’s see. Oh, there we go. I mean it’s installed now. There you go, you heard that click?
So that click is basically how you know that it has been installed. And what I'm noticing is it does add a teeny little bulk to the front of the phone. It doesn’t add any bulk to the back of the phone. It gives you full access to the camera. Okay, the hard buttons are still out. And if you don’t know really that much about the hardware of the LG Voyager, this is the video response to the hardware overview. So go check that out.
It is a very good build, I just snap that last part on. So there, it actually doesn’t add that much bulk now that I look at it. It does provide full access to the front. Okay, so that cool, you do get all access to all the buttons. You open it up. It is a hard case. I really like it. I like the look of it. Doesn’t look like it’s going to be a big lint grabber. You do get a microphone hole there. So basically all the ports, you still get access to the micro SD card. Very, very nice case. So if you're watching this in HD, you can pretty much see the general walk through of this case.
