Alright guys, welcome to this first LG Voyager video series video. I've decided to do this video tutorial because of a large number of cases and products that I'm getting. Number one in the PO Box being sent to me from many of the reviews. And a lot of these are cases and accessories for the LG Voyager. So I just want to get over, number one, this is the first video of the LG Voyager basically over view series.
So the first part of this video is going to be hardware. So I have the phone right here, and this is obviously a touch screen phone front and a multi media texting device on the inside. Now, I'm still trying to play to get the brightness down, but until then the only way that I can show you guys this clear is to hold that in angle. But basically our hardware is the send button. The end button and the clear button in the middle. On this front of the phone, your speakers here and your microphone I believe are probably down here. But I haven’t actually seen the hardware yet.
Turning the phone this side, all we have is a 2.5, not a 3.5. A 2.5 millimeter headphone jack and a micro SD card slot. Now I did you a video on using your micro SD card. So go ahead and check that out if you haven’t already.
I will flip to the bottom here this is the port where we can charge it. You just flip that back and a mini USB chip charger right there, proprietary USB. You can close that up, it’s just a little rubber or something.
Turn to the other side and we have on the top here are our hard camera button. A hold switch, you pull it back and forth until the phone turns on and off. And the volume rocker here, which also serves as a zoom button when you're holding it as a camera like this. You can zoom in and out using this two.
There’s nothing actually on top of the phone except for my personal nick. And so on the back of the phone, you can see here. If I pull it up is the 2.0 megapixel camera. If I can get this to focus at all. This is the 2.0 megapixel camera on the phone itself. It’s kind of hard to focus, but there we go. It’s a relatively decent camera. It takes 1600x1200, there you see me here. It takes 1600x1200 shots, so it’s a really good hardware actually.
On the inside, we obviously have the full QWERTY keyboard. A lot of people like this the actual tack down keyboard. The send and end are on this side. The OK and the whole navigations in the right hand side. Speaker phone button is this one. Speaker phone is here. The function button and the shift are all in here.
So you know, it’s very basic layout. Your soft keys are left and right and yes, if you open the from all the way, you can still use those hard buttons when you're actually using the camera. I’ll show you that right now. If I turn this device back on, just hit the camera button. Those two zoom buttons that I showed you before, as you can see the other side of my room. If I just press them, actually I'm in the highest resolution here. So I won't be able to zoom, but if I turn it all the way down. Look, you can see that. There it comes zooming in and zooming out using this actual zoom hard button on the top.
So that’s basically the general hardware overview. This is a little chrome on the side. A pretty high resolution screen and again it is a touch screen on the front. And I’ll be doing more reviews on the software, how it actually works. You can see the screen itself doesn’t take up the entire phone. So it has a little Verizon Wireless and LG branding on the sides. But overall, it’s a nice hardware interface. It fits in your pocket. It’s very sturdy. And I do like the phone.
So again stay tune for the hardware reviews. Stay tune for the case reviews and unboxing and I hope you guys like this first video. So thanks for checking me out and make sure you subscribe. Peace.
