Tiffany Young: Hi there and welcome to Neo-Fight.TV, the technology show for the not-so-geeky. My name is Tiffany Young.
Ben Freedman: Hurray, five more minutes for me.
Tiffany Young: Oh and you didn’t tell us about the next part that must be the—wait we should just ask you, Ben what is wrong?
Ben Freedman: I'm still like I'm cragged time. I was away for the last few weeks which is—it’s great to be back.
Tiffany Young: On vacation mind you.
Ben Freedman: I was away on vacation. The first vacation that my wife and I have had since our kids, the oldest is six so in six years it’s our first non-kid vacation. And we went to Prague and Budapest and had a great time. We had a wonderful time in Prague and Budapest but I approved and it’s still like 2AM for me so what are we doing?
Tiffany Young: Do you think you’ve actually really do adjust in a week. I mean it takes longer than that to really kind of get your clock back in line again.
Ben Freedman: Yeah, I think you're right. It does take a bit and it was a fast trip. We only had a week. That’s all the grandparents would give us but thank you to Mimi for taking the kids. We love you.
Tiffany Young: Go grandma!
Ben Freedman: Yeah definitely! So, hold in a second, I'm just going to drink a coffee.
Tiffany Young: So, is there some sort of pill that we can take or something that is going to make out the jet lag go away?
Ben Freedman: No, I'm just going to have to cowboy up and we’ll just do the show okay.
Tiffany Young: Okay! We’re ready to go.
Ben Freedman: Were going to start. Oh I am going! Okay. So, our first product today is this. Now, this is—you will love this. This is a little product that I got sent. This is called the La Fresh. Is that La Fresh or La Fresh? I think it’s La Fresh.
Tiffany Young: Looks like La Fresh.
Ben Freedman: La Fresh? I think it’s La Fresh like La Fresh.
Tiffany Young: La Fresh.
Ben Freedman: La Fresh.
Tiffany Young: Okay so?
Ben Freedman: It is La Fresh not La Fresh because it’s lower case. This is the La Fresh Tech Pack and what this is, is basically a travel kit or this is for hypochondriac geeks. Geeks who nothing is ever clean force. You buy this. This is about 10 packs. And see what comes inside. What is this? Well, take a look inside the La Fresh Tech Pack and inside La Fresh tech, take back—this is a great gift, you know, if you have a hypochondriac geek.
Tiffany Young: I think they got to work as lens cleaners too.
Ben Freedman: Well, you have some. Look at this lens clean and travel—take a look.
Tiffany Young: Oh it comes with all the different combinations and stuffs, that’s cool.
Ben Freedman: Yeah, lens clean travel—and you notice these are you know geek glasses. You can zoom a little right here if you will see that but definitely a geeky pair of glasses. Then we have the anti-bacterial travel wipes.
Tiffany Young: This is actually great for kids.
Ben Freedman: This is for—well yes except that there is some geeky stuff coming up in here as well so the anti–bacterial travel wipes fantastic for, you know, when you have to shake the hand of that you know contractor who you do not know. You will catch him in the eye. You do not know where he has been.
Tiffany Young: The plumber, thank you very much for coming.
Ben Freedman: Plumber yeah and then we have here the wet and dry combo. This is wet and dry combos screen cleaner. So, there's the wet side and then the dry side. So, you clean with the wet side. This is when laptop gets all the greasy fingerprints all over it from travelling on the airplane and you want to wipe it off.
Tiffany Young: By the way, did you know some of these are biodegradable. This one is biodegradable and this one is not.
Ben Freedman: Well, you can only be so good to the environment.
Tiffany Young: But they’re like 50% biodegradable.
Ben Freedman: You know.
Tiffany Young: Yeah!
Ben Freedman: You know nature does its best to kill us at every single turn like have you seen the news lately with hurricanes and the typhoons, and the tornados and the floods and the tomatoes? Nature is out to kill you people. Why on earth are you trying to save it so much when it wants to kill you? Nature wants you to die. We have to work in bad nature, that is humanity, that’s what separates us from the animal. Every other animal just, you know, has this symbiotic thing with nature where they wipe each other out. We try to survive. We try to beat nature.
Tiffany Young: You're telling me that humans are trying to wipe each other out?
Ben Freedman: We wipe each other out but we do not turn the right, I mean—
Tiffany Young: Well, you mean you’re talking about the bacteria’s are trying out constantly new viruses or mutating and all of that stuffs right somewhere.
Ben Freedman: Right!
Tiffany Young: Constantly bombarded therefore the La Fresh—
Ben Freedman: The fact is the planet is always trying to kill us. I say we kill it right back that is my—
Tiffany Young: Where is the anti-tornados? Are they in here somewhere too?
Ben Freedman: There is no anti-tornados.
Tiffany Young: Be gone tornado!
Ben Freedman: So, what do you think? Look for 10 bucks, this is probably good for a couple of trips, huh?
Tiffany Young: Sure!
Ben Freedman: Or if you are really, really scared of getting an catching something one trip, you know, but if you got to take—if you’re a consultant, a geeky tech consultant, this is everything you need for that next trip back to headquarters where you are supposed to connect your power point.
Tiffany Young: Perfect!
Ben Freedman: Okay so you’ve got travel wipes for your hands. Lens cleaners for your glasses and don’t try these on your contacts. It hurts, I figured that out. No good for contacts, you know, this is biodegradable, biodegradable, not so biodegradable. And then the combination, wet dry spring clean which I used on my laptop, it works well.
Tiffany Young: Great! Just in case since you're all set—
Ben Freedman: You’ll get three of each is that right? No, I've got four. In this little pack, I’ve got four of the screen cleaners, three of the sun glass devices cleaners and three of the travel wipes.
Tiffany Young: So price?
Ben Freedman: 10 bucks!
Tiffany Young: Not bad.
Ben Freedman: That is the La Fresh Tech Pack from La Fresh and it says here, airport security friendly. So, these are small enough you know and it comes in a little see-through pouch.
Tiffany Young: Which is probably six ounces or less.
Ben Freedman: These are all I mean much obviously much less than six ounces—
Tiffany Young: Or totally, yeah.
Ben Freedman: Yeah, I do not know how much they use and they go. What do you think?
Tiffany Young: Yeah!
Ben Freedman: Do you like it?
Tiffany Young: $10.00 is still spendy for you know what maybe what I’ll be using it for but I'm the all to ultra geeky kind of you know bacterially freaky out person going to do power point so I think it’s okay.
Ben Freedman: I think it is fantastic for 10 bucks. I would definitely buy this. I am waiting for the Casco size box to come out. It has liked a hundred of this, hundred individual packs.
Tiffany Young: Now that; yeah, if there was a whole box of them, they’re like—down, the price was a little better.
Ben Freedman: So, that is the La Fresh tech pack, the geeky cleaners. If you are a geek that needs to travel, try in on.
Tiffany Young: There you go. Absolutely!
Ben Freedman: And well be right back after these messages so please stay tuned.
And were back and Tiffany’s not ready.
Tiffany Young: I am ready!
Ben Freedman: Oh there you go, and we’re back. See I was the one who’s sleeping in the first show and you are supposed to be like drinking the water. It’s not like if you look at it, no that we allow you to have water on the show.
Tiffany Young: I know, only if I do a really good job in between ticks.
Ben Freedman: I have mixed feelings about this next product because I really want it to be awesome and it turns out only to be pretty good.
Tiffany Young: Oh!
Ben Freedman: But it’s still pretty good.
Tiffany Young: Well, the price may offset awesome to you know pretty good to awesome.
Ben Freedman: Is there sentence in there?
Tiffany Young: I think so.
Ben Freedman: Okay! iPod Nano, 3G iPod Nano, you have one of this. I have one of this.
Tiffany Young: I do!
Ben Freedman: Let’s see here we’re going to trick and hold the switch off here. And this is an ipod nano case. Now, it looks a little big for a typical case and this is by the way from iFrogs in all kinds of cases.
Tiffany Young: Right!
Ben Freedman: Let me go up in here and just throw in random music on here and that works. What you do is you take the iPod nano. You insert it in a case here like so it get so swallowed up alien style here. And now, not is it protected once I get this around.
Tiffany Young: You’re now turning it into a full set iPod.
Ben Freedman: Yeah, but you know I use it in iPod now.
Tiffany Young: And now it looks like—
Ben Freedman: But it has these little speakers on the back.
Tiffany Young: Yeah!
Ben Freedman: So, I can crank this up.
Tiffany Young: And that’s pretty cool.
Ben Freedman: Now, it’s powered by the iPod. It doesn’t take any batteries.
Tiffany Young: Okay!
Ben Freedman: So, listen to this huge volume.
Tiffany Young: That is it?
Ben Freedman: Dance with the music, that is it.
Tiffany Young: But the only problem with that is that I mean I would use this automatically for—
Ben Freedman: But when it’s going to be able to use not in the car.
Tiffany Young: Not in the car, not in the restaurant.
Ben Freedman: Not in the restaurant.
Tiffany Young: That’s a bumper!
Ben Freedman: At home, in bed maybe, to watch movie in bed it is great. That’s crank, that’s full volume.
Tiffany Young: Yeah, I need to get your playlist usually pretty good songs.
Ben Freedman: It’s 80’s, its all 80’s music you know just like—
Tiffany Young: It is a thingy.
Ben Freedman: So, there is no base.
Tiffany Young: It just needs to be louder.
Ben Freedman: Yeah! It’s like let me hold it to Mike here so you can hear better.
Tiffany Young: You know that is probably the loudest they can get it—battery, they have at last.
Ben Freedman: Well exactly and it’s also going to drain the battery faster.
Tiffany Young: Sure!
Ben Freedman: You still can plug headphones in. I am not sure exactly why you wants it. You cannot sync it.
Tiffany Young: Or charge it?
Ben Freedman: Or charge it, that is right. If you take it out to sync it or to charge it but you can’t stop like headphones do but I don’t know I was in like a very quite environment and I’m like is that light enough for a kitchen even or?
Tiffany Young: No.
Ben Freedman: What is light enough for you?
Tiffany Young: I don’t know.
Ben Freedman: Under your pillow, there is probably a pretty good pillow speaker. If you need a pillow like an iPod pillow, I think it’s actually quite in my iPhone speaker.
Tiffany Young: I think it’s pretty quite, yeah!
Ben Freedman: It’s quiet!
Tiffany Young: Anyway, I like the idea just a little bit bigger.
Ben Freedman: No, it is not terribly expensive, it’s got 25 bucks.
Tiffany Young: Or ladder, it’s like they’re in ladder.
Ben Freedman: Now, if they had an option that was slightly bigger and you put that reason. And with the batteries, it got quite a bit louder. I think that would be a lot more useful.
Tiffany Young: Me too, I agree. Now, I agree but yeah nice design though.
Ben Freedman: It is a nice design. I think it is the first speaker system that iFrogs has come out with. They typically make cases and protective covers and screens.
Tiffany Young: Great idea in this little more time in a lap.
Ben Freedman: So, I think what we need is a version 2.
Tiffany Young: Exactly!
Ben Freedman: Yeah, this is like version 1. And when version 2 comes out, it takes the battery. That will be a lot better.
Tiffany Young: Yeah, I agree.
Ben Freedman: So good idea from iFrogs. We want to see the next release. It’s called the iFrogz Audiowrapz. Audiowrapz, iFrogz Audiowrapz.
Tiffany Young: They can have also nicknames.
Ben Freedman: It is a very cool name and that’s a pretty cool product. They just need a little more baking.
Tiffany Young: I agree and for $25.00 that is pretty good deal but you have to be able to hear it.
Ben Freedman: That is right! That is all the time we have for today but please visit our website at www.neo-fight.tv. Are you done to doing this thing?
Tiffany Young: No.
Ben Freedman: And now a word from Tiffany.
Tiffany Young: Thanks for joining us and email us questions if you have any, if you like to see a product.
Ben Freedman: Don’t email us, put comments on the website.
Tiffany Young: Right!
Ben Freedman: Because that way, everyone can see question.
Tiffany Young: Great! Yes, absolutely. If you want to see a product, have a product, have another thought of the product to be reviewed, let us know.
Ben Freedman: Now, let me just say this, a little aside, Tiffany was just telling me part of the show that for the first time—
Tiffany Young: No, no, don’t say—what?
Ben Freedman: For the first time in the three years we have been doing the show, she actually looked at our YouTube page.
Tiffany Young: Oh gosh!
Ben Freedman: And the YouTube page has a lot of comments, some great, some bad. But you know what there are some odd comments about you.
Tiffany Young: There are some comments that are just down right nasty.
Ben Freedman: Yeah, but there are less when it comes about me too. How many times I’ve been called gay on YouTube? How many times?
Tiffany Young: You have at least—
Ben Freedman: That was two years of my life people that it does not make mine.
Tiffany Young: I’d rather be called a gay than some of the other in the windows that have been suggested on YouTube.
Ben Freedman: At least you're always—at least your sexuality is never challenged.
Tiffany Young: Oh, yes! You know you were right, that is true.
Ben Freedman: Yeah!
Tiffany Young: Although it does not really offset what was said.
Ben Freedman: Where were we?
Tiffany Young: Anyway, thanks for joining us.
Ben Freedman: Yeah, go to our website, leave a comment at neo-fight.tv. And we’ll see you next week with some more innate commentary and oh yeah some gadgets. And if you have an extra 30 seconds, take a look at this.
