Laws of Tzeddakah and Giving to Charity

What are your priorities in giving Sudakah? There a very famous passage in Maimonides Mishna Torah code of law and it is law of the laws of helping the poor for the 8 steps of charity and this is very famous and should you know about it. The things to remember are the dignity of the poor must be always respected and helping people to help themselves is the greatest form of Sudakah. Sudakah is righteous of giving, charity is not only a great work for it because that implies the Greek Charity task giving out of love and this is the righteous commandment. Okay so, this a letter of giving and the bottom wrong the worst kind of giving but still good is the person who goes reluctantly in with regret. Number 2, going up to the top, the person who gave graciously but less than you should. Number 3 the person who gave it should but only after being ask.

Number 4, the person who gives before being asks. Number 5, the person who gives without knowing to whom one gives although the recipients know the identity of the donor. Now in Chicago for example all the gifts to the Jewish United fund are recorded in somebody called the book of life and distributed. So we know everybody who gave how much but you do not always know, we know the agencies the gap but you do not know the individual who get there trying to respect this priorities as much as possible. Number 6, the person who gives without making ones identity known, giving anonymously. 7, the person who gives without knowing that who one gives and the recipients does not know the donor. And the highest forms on this latter is the following. The person who helps another to support who one self by gift or a lone or finding employment for that persons has hoping that person become independent. Those are the eight rules or eight laws according to Maimonides the letter of Sudakah.
