Male Speaker: When Joseph Pilates made it to America in the 1920s, he worked in New York with the number of professional dancers. Dancers icons Martha Graham, and George Balanchine sent members of their troops down to improve their techniques and to prevent injuries.

Pilates develop to spring loaded aparadisus after working with bed return hospital patients who are recovering from surgery.
