You know, one of the things that’s really helpful to keep in mind in terms of marketing is making sure that you know what you would say if a reporter suddenly showed up with a microphone and said “Tell me little about what you do and what you're ideal customer is like.” Do you have an answer ready for that question? If not, spend sometime thinking about that, write it down and have it ready because if you're going to interact with your public that way you would interact with a reporter ready to answer that kind of question, being able to articulate and identify your ideal customer helps keep your marketing ideas fresh, helps keep you with the direct message to the people who are interested in you and who knows, it could bring you some new business.
