btw eid al fitr is the first day of shawal which is the next month following ramadan not the last day ... just wanna point it out

Assalam alaikum i want to no what is Ramadan and how it has been implement that time and Qayamullal pray and fasting why should we do as a muslim other religious they are not doing any thing and they are getting every thing in this world so please send me the detail of this message so i will read and forward to my friends and relative. Now as part of Ramadan, Muslims are expected to fast. However, there are certain few people who are exempted from this fast and they are soldiers, people who are sick and young children. Now, fasting also happens to be one of the five pillars of faith. So why the fasting? Well, there are several reasons. One is to cleanse the body and mind. It is also to appreciate Allah’s bounty. It also protects against sin. And it develops self control and patience. Now, in the last day of Ramadan which is known as the Eid al-Fitr, Muslim celebrates with a big feast.
