Michelle Otis: The follow up resources that are available are going to depend on the organization, but most shelters will provide you with behavior tips, they will provide you with a list of trainers that have been approved and use positive reinforcement technique, most shelters make their adoption counselors available to answer phone calls and from anything -- any question from where should I put the crate to what food are you going to feed him. Hopefully, you will have addressed a lot of this during the counseling process, but your counselor should be available for further help later on the line.
