Hey, what is up guys? I got a song by my brother Matthew. He suggested that I listen to it. So, I had enough anybody, I am sure the people other than me and him will listen to this. So, hope this will help somebody who wants to learn to play it.
I really do not have tabs for it. There is solo open guitar but I really did not looked at it a whole lot. I got just a couple of sections of it that I want to try and cover. I think it will be help a little. The beginning kind of verse is just two beats. It starts in the C. It is like Am, Am.
[Demo]
Well, I guess, through the verse and then after that, it is like, “I do not mind,” but before that it goes,
[Demo]
Which is just C.
[Demo]
That is like three times. Then after that, it goes into this kind of little a section that sounds like this. It is like.
[Demo]
That very, very last part is kind of tough for me to get yet but the way it starts out is on Am and you just have your middle; and ring finger on the G and the B string, 2nd fret; and you just strum; and hammer on the B string with your pointer finger on the 1st fret. And the 2nd beat is hammer on and play the 3rd fret right here on the high E string.
[Demo]
Do a couple of strums.
[Demo]
It is at four times then I switch to the C and do the same thing.
[Demo]
And then it is like C to C9. The C is at your pinky finger on the B string 3rd fret.
[Demo]
Then it is a C but this verse as you originally have your 1st string, just on the B string 1st fret. You kind of barre that down. So, it is covered on the B and the E string.
The bottom two strings on that first fret, so it looks like this.
[Demo]
And after that, it goes into this where you play -- you are suppose to mute the A string. This is kind of tough for me sometimes. So, you do that pointer finger, 3rd fret on both the Es.
[Demo]
So, it is just 3 and 3, 3 and 5, and a3 and 7. Then pretty much that is only the basic strumming patterns. My ultimate guitar had different tabs on there, so that might be the way to actually play it. But when I just play along with the song or think you know if you are going to cover and that would be a perfect way to play it.
Then the solo, there are two ways you can play, all depending on your preference. There are really three parts to it and it is,
[Demo]
You can play it that way, the first part. So, that is on the 6th fret on the B string. So, the string above your high E if you do not know the names. They go E, A, D, G, B, E, starting from top to bottom. So, it is 6 to the 9 on the string up which is the D string.
[Demo]
5, 5, 7, 7, 9. So, it is 6, up a string, 9, 7, 9, 9, 7, 7, 9, 9 and then 6, 9, 7, 4, 4, 5, 5, 0, 0. And I will have it last time.
You will not really know where it goes in there but it goes 6 again, 9, 7, 5, 5. Then I go 9, bend, 7, 7, to the 12. So, I do not know if it is the correct way of playing this what I got from listening to it.
If you do not like the whole 6 to 9 thing, you can actually bend down here on the 5th on the B string. That might be the way they play it because I think it sounds more like a bend than play another note on the album.
[Demo]
You play like that. So, that would eliminate the 5, and the same as the 6, then we will eliminate the 9 on the next string. And then this lower E on that Am7. So, you can play it like this,
[Demo]
Or,
[Demo]
So, you are really going to play on what you wanted on that and that is basically it.
You can listen to the song, listen to different parts and you can hear from each of those parts goes where. So, hope that will help you out. If you guys have any request or anything like that, get back to me. I am not really that good on the guitar yet but I am trying to get there. I just started playing a year ago.
So, if you liked it, leave a comment, if not, you can leave a comment to it also. Thanks for stopping by and let me know if you need help on any of songs. Thanks guys. Take care.
