Learn Hair Styling Tips and Tricks Part 2
[Demonstration]
My client here is a businessman that does a lot of consulting so he’s time is really
precious to him so a lot times in between meetings, he comes in and he might need a
quick clean up, this haircut right here insures that you give him the same haircut each
time but with less time consumption so he could go ahead. He could feel like a million
bucks if you touch him. When I feel like he’s getting it cleaned up. Your version to clean
up the entire haircut, I just thought giving more to your client.
Sometimes it’s hard but it definitely is a necessity. I’ll just take the same blade and start
coming around here because I’m going to want to keep the sideburns here. But I’m also
going to go a bit shorter but I’ll stop right along in here. Now I pull in that all together.
Notice I could go up pretty high as long as I don’t create anymore lines. When I go in I’m
going up. I’m lifting my clipper at a degree more than just a zero degree, which is here
45°, 45° to 90° angle to give you more length but it’s actually cleaning more here in more
uniformity in the face.
Going back where we started earlier making sure everything is matched up and this is
clean. Now we’ll go to our number one blade.
Taking one behind the ear transitioning this 190 put all together.
Keep going if you cut some hair you have some fun, you know what I mean. This is what
we do; this is how we enjoy our day. There’s nothing better to making people good about
themselves. At the end of the day that’s what it’s all about.
What I’m thinking about? I want shout out barber’sdigest.com. I’m really doing
something here and I appreciate it. A lot of people I know that I probably—
barbershopdigest.com.
You even take your one now and start one around the area around the head around the
start smoothening it down. I don’t want to add too much pressure. You don’t want to add
another line. Just start at one edge and smooth things down.
See what we left off pretty much everything is gone. Now we could use this zero. Let me
just tap around here and take some of this dark area or actually I just use my math to
adjustable in going here and doing that as well. Just do that. I’m going to take this away
here and I’m going knock the remaining of this area off and then we’re going to use our 3
and you’ll see that will be pretty much done when I fade actually.
This is a real and high tight the customer doesn’t like that at least so we keep this just a
low face tight on the neck, keep your sideburns intact. Little length on top, doing it some
a much it might go a little bit shorter. Again this little coat outside, we keep a little nip on
top. Going around the occipital bone and I flair enough, this term flaring I mean just
flipping the clipper and like I said make sure I’m not putting anymore lines that I have to
remove.
Now if you do that, I mean they’re simple to remove but again that’s more work for you
and for my 08 to a 30 and that will remove the remainder of this bulk so we’ll start here
in the middle just so you see what happens when you come up with making a lift as I go
so I could add a little more lint as I get lower 0°. Knocks everything out.
This is technique is something is wonderful when you are doing kids because kids just
use like the most ticklish area for them so they fight you or whatever to stay still so if you
could actually just leave that hair there you just leave all that there and then go to
something else and then leave out the last.
You go to the lines which you know go ahead and divert that attention something else
and kind of stop that little tickle bug or you know just some of them just don’t like it so
you could divert their attention a little bit and you go ahead and do something else and
then come after that before you know it, before they know it, you’re done with it.
