You saved me! I just looked at my daughter's dance club fashion requirements for the recital and it said I need to have her in a back-combed crown....tomorrow!! Very flattering "do", I might have to try it on myself. Thank you!!

Hi! My name is Robin. I am from Blo Blow Dry Bar and I am going to teach you guys how to do the Killer Backcomb. First when you start off, you section off a foreshoe shape around the crown area of the head. Clip the big section of hair out of your way. Take one section, take your comb and hold the shorter hairs from the ends to the roots. This will form a good foundation around the root area of the scalp and this will be the starting of your Backcomb. You then let that section go and unclip your section of hair and again section, one of your sections, backcombing from the ends to the roots, and again forming a good amount of hair at the area. Continue this procedure until you have formed your shape. It's always a good idea to do a little bit of backcombing on either side to balance the head and then smooth it out, shape it out. You can take the end of your tail comb and lift up certain areas of the hair to make it look more balanced and round, and that is how you do the Killer Backcomb.
