Proper hitting position review:
1. Foot alignment. Align your feet with the front and back of home plate.
2. Check your plate coverage. Make sure your bat extends to cover the entire plate.
3. Get a grip. The bat should be gripped in the fingers, not in the palms. Line up the knuckles, big to small.
4. L-position. The front arm should be at a 90 degree-angle or and L-position.
5. Check your angles. Your body should form two 45 degree angles. The first one being shoulder, hip to knee, and the second one being hip, knee to the heel.
6. Chin ups. Your chin should be resting on your shoulder, so that your eyes are facing the pitcher.
