Hi! My name is Chris, I am from Blo Blow Dry Bar and today I am going to be showing, how to do the perfect flat iron curl.
What you do is you start at the back of the head and you take a section depending on the size of the curl that you want. If you want a smaller curl, take a smaller section; if you want a bigger looser curl, take a bigger section.
You take the section and you stick your flat iron in just as if you are going to be straightening it, except right at the root, you turn the flat iron about 90 degrees, so you can see the opposite side, and then you slowly start pulling it through all the way to the end to make sure you are going nice and slow and steady, because if you go too quickly, you are not going to get a proper curl.
You pull it right to the end to making sure, you give a little bit of the extra twist that the ends, so you don't have any sort of straight ends. Then you stick your fingers in right at the root, once you have gone all the way through and wrap the hairs around your fingers and you let it set there for just a second, just so like you can kind of pull down and the curl can set in there, and then you do it for the entire head.
So once you have flat iron curled the entire head, you just sort of loosen it up with your fingers, shape it around, a little bit back from some hairspray and that is how you get the perfect flat iron curl in the perfect style.
