In this exercise, you were on your back, start with the ball on your shoulder pad or shooting pocket area and work on the backspin and the follow through of your shot. The objective is to put as much backspin on the ball as you can without seeing the lines on the ball as you follow through. It is also beneficial for working on and strengthening your follow through mechanics.
Notice it again, as Anthony conducts his drill, that his palm is facing up to begin toward the ceiling, and once completing a follow through his palm is facing down toward the floor. Palm up, palm down, palm up, palm down. Complete 25 repetitions of this drill.
