The purpose of the drill is to strengthen your follow-through movement and your forearms for your shot. In this exercise, it is important that you initiate your movement with your palm facing up towards the ceiling and finish with your palm facing down toward the floor. Notice that Anthony as he completes his follow-through has a straight line on his wrist to the end of his fingertips. Palm up, palm down, palm up, palm down.
Some of the drills that we will practice, we like to do in front of a mirror because as you see yourself perform the mechanics, you will be able to recognize if they are being done correctly. Complete 25 repetitions of this drill.
