Chordal Fills
Tutorial: Part 2
Tim Huffman: Now, let's switch to C, and with the C, it's going to be the same type of melody line, and what we are going to do here is, we are going to start on the four string at the second fret.
So inside the chord shape I am going to play second fret, third fret, second fret, open, and then go back to this Root.
So if you watch me strum through with my right hand and then on the D chord; remember with the D, just hit four stings with your right hand. The line we are going to play here is, kind of focusing here on the first string.
So we have got the D, and when you get the third fret with the key. So third fret, second fret, open, and then back to this D on the second string, third fret.
Unknown Speaker: This is 3 A.M. by Matchbox Twenty. This song is going to key at A flat major and standard tuning. I have a capo at the first fret.
When you open first string in the third fret on the second string. So that's again.
The D chord here, and that's going to be the first finger at the sixth fret on the first string, third finger on the eight fret of the third string.
