So we'll start out slide and into that major third there, at the seventh fret of the second string. You'll notice I am just sliding a half simple way, a good little blues embellishment is to always start a half way, a half simple way from whatever. I know you try and just to create a little bit tension that you can resolve instantly.
So I am sliding up with my third finger from the sixth fret to the seventh fret, then my first finger is going to grab the fifth fret of the first string, come back to the seventh fret of the second string, come back to the fifth fret of the first string, and then resolve it with the band from the eighth fret second string full step band. So E7 straight pentatonically. Then I am going to go to A7, and now the major third here in A7, you can see at the sixth fret of the third string, and then it's also here at the fourth fret of the fifth string.
So common ways to come up to that we would -- so you got that note there and then if you wanted to come down to the fifth fret, down to the fourth fret and grab it, and then with your second figure, come up here and grab the root of the chord here on the fifth fret of the sixth string. So, coming to that A7.
Let's start for the hammer-ons from the seventh to the ninth fret on the third string, and then the eighth fret on the second string. Now really think of that as three different little sections that make that whole blue, starting with the first section.
