Danny Grady: Now, let's go to C Major. Let's keep our hands in this A minor position and we are just going to move one finger, we are just going to lift up our 3rd finger and we are going to add it to the 3rd fret of the 5th string. Again, thumb down, hand out, very tips of your fingers. When you are using the tips of your fingers, your knuckles curve just the right way. Pick the 5th string, 4th string, that 3rd string should be open if you are touching it with your 2nd finger, make sure you are pressing with the very tip of your 2nd finger and bringing your thumb down, your hand out and over that open string. 2nd string and then 1st string. Everything except for that 6th string open. Just insert that pick right on the 5th string and strum down.
Giles Martin: Hi! I am Giles Martin. I am here at Abbey Road Studio 2 to talk about the Yellow Submarine. Now, Yellow Submarine was written as a children song. It was written overnight by Paul for children very deliberately. Apparently, he went around and play this to Donovan and said, what do you think, and Donovan came with the lyrics, "Sky of blue and sea of green".
Rob Schumann: A G Major and then a D7, starts with the 1st finger on the 1st fret of the 2nd string.
